Oklahoma City Gun Club, OK – June 2025
ACME Machine proudly marked another milestone in its mission to support American marksmanship at the 2025 NRA National Mid-Range Prone Championships, held at the Oklahoma City Gun Club.
This year’s competition showcased a powerful blend of rising junior talent and elite veteran performance—all backed by the precision and reliability of ACME-built rifles. From the 300-yard line to the 600, both junior competitors and members of the Veterans Family Brigade delivered championship-caliber results that elevated the entire event.
"Watching these juniors grow from training line to firing line is what our mission is all about," said Shaun Beiswanger, founder of ACME Machine. "We don’t just build rifles. We build confidence, discipline, and community—one shot at a time."
Veterans Lead by Example
Among the standout achievements:
Dwayne Lewis dominated the AR-Tactical field, earning titles as National Champion, High Veteran, Day 3 Aggregate High, and as a member of the Winning 4-Man AR-Tactical Team Match.
That winning team featured Julia Watson-Carlson, Dan Duitsman, Rob Mango, and Dwayne Lewis—all ACME-sponsored members of the Veterans Family Brigade.
Dan Duitsman delivered an exceptional performance, posting 200-18X and 200-15X scores at 600 yards to secure a 3rd Place Overall finish in AR-Tactical.
Johnathan O'Neal, representing ACME and VFB in the Any Rifle/Optic discipline, helped the USNRT-Rowe 4-Man Team break two national records—shooting a phenomenal 2399-179X, just one point shy of perfection.
Juniors Rise to the Challenge
ACME Machine’s junior marksmen made a bold and lasting impression on the competition:
The ACME Junior 4-Man Team—Sydney Beiswanger, Gabe Williams, Kiera Duitsman, and Logan Legg—secured 1st Place in the Junior Team Match.
Logan Legg earned the title of Junior AR-Tactical National Champion, receiving a medal and a custom ACME Match Rifle, identical to the platforms trusted by seasoned champions.
Sydney Beiswanger, ACME junior ambassador and marksman at just 13 years old, put together a legendary performance that included:
- 2nd Place Overall – Junior AR-Tactical
- 1st – Master Classification
- 1st – AR-Tactical Top Woman
- 1st – Junior Team Match
- 1st – Junior Aggregate (Match Day 2)
- 4th Overall with an elite score of 2368/2400 – 101X’s
Recognizing the exponential growth from just two juniors competing in 2024, the Oklahoma City Gun Club honored ACME Machine’s commitment by awarding a special trophy to its junior competitors, coach, and captain—celebrating not only competitive success but the lasting impact on the future of the sport.
A Rising Name in the Junior Ranks: Wyatt Grieser
One of the standout stories of the week came from Wyatt Grieser, a first-time AR-Tactical competitor and participant in the Junior High Power Clinic hosted in Van Meter, Iowa, in partnership with the Civilian Marksmanship Program and Veterans Family Brigade. Already accomplished in the shotgun discipline, Wyatt displayed raw talent and composure in unfamiliar territory. His breakthrough performance not only celebrated his transition into AR-Tactical but also earned him the honor of having his name engraved on the Sydney Beiswanger Trophy as the overall clinic winner.
With coaching from Lopaka Radona, Wyatt fired an astonishing 200-10X—not including additional X’s in his sighter shots—earning admiration and applause across the firing line from teammates, parents, and fellow competitors at the National Mid-Range Championship.
Legacy in the Making
From mentorship to medals, this year’s nationals represented more than just competition—it was a defining moment in ACME Machine’s grassroots mission: to grow America’s high-power shooting sports through investment in its youth and its veterans.
With continued support from partners like Friends of NRA, Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP), and B5 Systems, ACME Machine remains committed to empowering the next generation with championship-grade equipment, hands-on mentorship, and unwavering support.
