Youth Marksmanship in Action: Highlights from ACME Machine’s Iowa Junior High Power Rifle Clinic

Posted by Robert Green, Marketing & Media Director on Apr 28th 2025

ACME Machine, alongside the Veteran’s Family Brigade & CMP, proudly hosted the Junior High Power Rifle Clinic in Van Meter, Iowa — empowering over 20 youth shooters with world-class coaching, custom-built AM-15 rifles, Hi-Lux Optics, & Black Hills Ammunition.

From perfect scores to breakout debuts, these juniors proved that the next generation is disciplined, confident, and unstoppable.

A True Community Effort

This event was made possible thanks to the incredible generosity of sponsors and volunteers who believe in investing in the next generation:

Sponsors & Supporters:

  • Hi-Lux Optics (donating 15 scopes for future clinics)

  • Black Hills Ammunition (match-grade rounds for competition)

  • Geissele Automatics, TriggerTech, White Oak Armament, Rock River Arms, Davenport Guns, and more

Volunteer Instructors & Leaders:
John Wilson, Jonathan O’Neal, Julia Watson, Dwayne Lewis, Ken Foster, Dan Duitsman, Nash Neubauer, and mentors like Lopaka Radona.

Behind the scenes, special thanks go to Shaun Beiswanger (ACME Machine) and RG Photography for capturing the powerful moments that tell this story.

ACME’s Mission: More Than Rifles

At ACME Machine, we believe in more than building precision rifles—we believe in building leaders. Every clinic, every match, and every junior shooter we support is part of a larger mission to ensure America’s youth have access to elite training, quality equipment, and the encouragement they need to succeed.

As ACME founder Shaun Beiswanger says:

“We don’t just build rifles. We build future leaders—disciplined, confident, and capable.”
