FAQs from the Interview
Q: If ACME supports our team through a Friends of NRA (FNRA) grant, can that donation also be matched by the MidwayUSA Foundation?
A: Possibly. While ACME proudly helps teams secure FNRA grants, whether that funding can be deposited into your MidwayUSA Foundation endowment—and matched—depends on FNRA’s specific grant guidelines. We recommend reaching out to your local NRA Field Representative for clarification.
Q: Does our team need to be a 501(c)(3) to open an endowment with the MidwayUSA Foundation?
A: Not exactly. Your team must be a registered nonprofit, but it does not need to have 501(c)(3) status. School-affiliated teams are the exception—they can open an endowment as long as they’re officially recognized by the school.
On the Line at Camp Perry
ACME Machine is proud to sponsor junior marksmen and members of the Veterans Family Brigade, both of whom will be competing at the 2025 CMP National Matches. These athletes are supported by the very resources discussed in this interview—and your team can be too.
