QUANTICO, Virginia – The Junior Highpower Rifle Clinic, will be held September 20-21, 2025 on the historic Quantico grounds – home to the United States Marine Corps since 1917.

Sponsored by ACME Rifles in partnership with the Civilian Marksmanship Program, Veteran's Family Brigade Instructors, and the Marine Corps Shooting Teams.

Members leading this year’s Junior Clinic include current and former National Rifle champions such as Dan Duitsman, Dwayne Lewis, Jonathan O’Neal, and Julia Watson-Carlson.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own rifles, ammunition and shooting equipment. (If unable to bring your own, rifles, gear, and ammunition will be provided for youth.)

About the Clinic 

The two-day clinic will focus on beginner or advanced training on AR-Tactical, or Service Rifle (respectively). Firing will be shot on electronic targets from 200 yards, so you will need to have a phone/tablet to view shot placements. Adults/Parents are welcome to register and attend, but priority of firing time will go to the youth. We have limited space so register early. Minimum age requirement is 12, unless approved prior to clinic.

Day-1 will be in the classroom; to include safety, fundamentals, equipment use, shooting positions and rulebook standards. Participants will have one-on-one coaching during the event.

Day-2 will be more live firing with a scored fun competition match. Following the match, the Marine Corps Shooting Team will introduce the youth to basic-level Action Target training and live fire. The Action Target training will focus primarily on weapons handling, target transitions, and basic position work from 5 to 500 yards.

Following all live fire training there will be Awards to recognize top shooters and a Banquet.
