Each year, the most elite sniper teams from across the globe descend on the Maneuver Center of Excellence at Fort Moore (formerly Fort Benning), Georgia, to compete in one of the most grueling and respected long-range events in the world—the International Sniper Competition.

Hosted by the U.S. Army, this competition challenges military sniper teams from across the United States Armed Forces and NATO allied nations in a multi-day series of tasks designed to test marksmanship, teamwork, reconnaissance, target acquisition, and stress management under combat-simulated conditions. From urban hide sites to low-light long-range engagements, competitors face scenarios that reflect real-world operations—and only the most adaptable and disciplined teams prevail.
