Precision, Performance, and Partnership: ACME Machine Supports Veteran’s Family Brigade at CMP and NRA Nationals

At ACME Machine, we believe true excellence is forged at the intersection of craftsmanship, discipline, and community. That’s why we’re proud to sponsor the Veteran’s Family Brigade (VFB) through a competitive season filled with high-stakes matches and championship-caliber moments.

In 2024, ACME Machine proudly provided the VFB team with our custom-built AM-10 6.5 Creedmoor AR Tactical Rifles, delivering the precision and reliability required for elite competition. These rifles were paired with Geissele AR Tactical triggers and Lapua 6.5 Creedmoor ammunition, creating a winning formula on the firing line.

Making an Impact at Camp Perry & Camp Atterbury

The Veteran’s Family Brigade is competing at both the CMP Mid and Long Range National Championships at Camp Perry, Ohio (August 5–10) and the NRA Mid-Range National Championships at Camp Atterbury, Indiana (August 10–14). These national-level events demand discipline and pinpoint accuracy—qualities embodied by our sponsored marksmen and women.

President’s Hundred Distinction

The President’s Hundred is one of the most prestigious achievements in American marksmanship. Its title is reserved for the top 100 shooters who prove their mettle in national competition. We’re incredibly proud to announce that five members of the Veteran’s Family Brigade earned this distinguished honor—an outstanding testament to their hard work, discipline, and dedication to the craft.

Competitive Highlights from the Field

Our first wave of VFB shooters has already hit the line at Camp Perry, starting with three grueling 800 Aggregate matches spanning 200, 300, and 600 yards. Their commitment continued during the 4-Man Team Match, which tested competitors across:

  • 10 shots standing (200 yards)

  • 10 shots rapid sitting (200 yards)

  • 10 shots prone rapid (300 yards)

  • 20 shots slow fire (600 yards)

These matches demand not only technical precision but also the unwavering integrity that defines the VFB and its mission. At ACME Machine, we are honored to stand behind a team that competes with such heart—and whose results speak volumes.

Champions Among Champions

We’re thrilled to spotlight some truly outstanding achievements:

Julia Watson Carlson delivered an incredible performance at the CMP Mid-Range Match, winning the AR-Tactical Division with a commanding score of 596-35X using her ACME 6.5 Creedmoor build. Her accomplishment is not just a personal victory—it’s a shining example of what can be achieved when elite training meets dependable gear.

Dan Duitsman claimed top honors at the Henry Memorial 1,000-Yard National Championship Match, winning the AR Tactical Division with a score of 196-4X. Using the ACME AM-10 6.5 Creedmoor, Dan showcased the long-range precision and consistency that defines our platform.

Built for Champions. Backed by Purpose.

Integrity remains the cornerstone of everything we do—both in manufacturing and in mentorship. The partnership between ACME Machine and the Veteran’s Family Brigade is more than sponsorship; it’s a shared mission to elevate the standard of American marksmanship and give back to those who’ve served.

From the firing line at Camp Perry to the podium at Camp Atterbury, our rifles are built for champions—and placed in the skilled hands of competitors who embody discipline, focus, and heart.
